Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 cups bread cubes (day-old bread works best)
  • 3 tbsp Borsari Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Borsari Savory Seasoning (or Original Seasoning)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet, warm Borsari Olive Oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add bread cubes and toss until lightly toasted.
  4. In a baking dish, combine tomatoes, toasted bread cubes, and Borsari Seasoning; mix gently.
  5. Top with Parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

  • Use a mix of cherry and heirloom tomatoes for layered flavor and color.
  • If bread isn’t stale, toast cubes on a sheet pan for 5 to 7 minutes first.
