
Borsari Winter Vegetables

This is a fast and easy way to make winter vegetables absolutely delicious. It’s foolproof.

Ingredients
- 3/4 POUNDS Brussels sprouts
- 6 Carrots
- 3 Medium to large Shallots
- 4 Tablespoons Good Olive Oil
- ¾ Tablespoons BORSARI ORIGINAL SEASONING
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut off the ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow leaves.
- If the carrots are thick cut them in half lengthwise; if not, leave them whole. Slice the carrots into 1 ½ “ slices. Make the slices big as they will get smaller while cooking.
- Peel the shallots and cut into large strips.
- In a large bowl toss the sprouts, carrots and shallots in the olive oil and BORSARI ORIGINAL SEASONING.
- Place all the vegetables in a single layer on a sheet pan and roast for 35 – 45 minutes. Shake the pan from time to time to brown the Brussels sprouts evenly. Serve warm.
Notes
A great variation is to brown ½ pound of center cut bacon until very crispy. Crumble and toss with the winter vegetables before serving.
