Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Borsari Olive Oil
- 2 lbs ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup Borsari Bloody Mary Mix
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp Borsari Savory Seasoning
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat Borsari Olive Oil in a large Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes, beans, Borsari Bloody Mary Mix, chili powder, paprika, Borsari Savory Seasoning, cumin, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
