Borsari Brisket a la Carbonnade

Ingredients
- 3-1/2 – 4 pounds Beef Brisket
- 2 shakes Borsari Original
- 2 tbsp Borsari Olive Oil
- 2 pounds Onions Half lengthwise and thinly sliced
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 Bottle Beer 12 oz
- 1 Beef Bouillon Cub
- 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions

Put a Rack in the Middle of Oven and Preheat Oven to 350F

Pat Brisket Dry and Shake on Borsari Original. Heat Borsari Olive Oil in 6-8 quart pot over high heat. Brown meats on all sides 10 minutes total. Transfer meat to platter.

Add onions and bay leaf to your pot and cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally until onions are gold, approximately 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer half the onions to a bowl. Add brisket back to the pot and place over onions.

Add beer, bouillon cubes and vinegar and bring to a boil on the stove.

Cover pot, transfer to oven and braise for 3-3-1/2 hours.

Let meat cool uncovered for 30 minutes. Slice and Serve with Sauce.
