When it comes to a special occasion meal, few dishes impress like a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. With its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and savory flavor, this dish is a true showstopper. Seasoned simply with Borsari Seasoning and roasted to perfection, it’s elegant, delicious, and surprisingly easy to prepare at home.
Ingredients
- 1 whole Beef Tenderloin (about 4–5 lbs), trimmed
- 3 tbsp Borsari Olive Oil
- 3 to 4 tsp Borsari Original Seasoning
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a roasting pan with foil or place a rack inside.
- Pat tenderloin dry with paper towels. Rub all over with Borsari Olive Oil and season generously with Borsari Seasoning and black pepper.
- Place tenderloin on the rack in the roasting pan. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from oven and let rest 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
- Slice into thick medallions and serve with your favorite sides.
Pro Tips
- Bring the tenderloin to room temperature before roasting for even cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer - medium-rare is best at 135°F.
- Let the roast rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing to lock in juices.
- Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a red wine sauce for a complete meal.
