Slow-Roasted Coffee Rub Brisket

Slow-Roasted Coffee Rub Brisket

This tender, deeply flavorful brisket combines the bold richness of Borsari Coffee Rub with the savory balance of Borsari Original Seasoning. Slow-roasted until perfectly sliceable, it’s ideal for holiday gatherings, Sunday dinners, or any time you want melt-in-your-mouth comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 to 6 lb) beef brisket
  • 2 tbsp Borsari Coffee Rub
  • 1 to 2 tsp Borsari Original Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Pat brisket dry and rub with olive oil. Coat generously with Borsari Coffee Rub, then sprinkle Borsari Original over the top for extra depth.
  3. Place sliced onions and garlic in the bottom of a roasting pan. Set brisket on top, fat-side up.
  4. Pour beef broth around (not on top of) the brisket.
  5. Cover tightly with foil and roast for 3.5 to 5 hours, depending on size, until fork-tender.
  6. Remove foil and roast uncovered for an additional 20 to 30 minutes to develop a crust.
  7. Let rest 15 to 20 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  8. Serve with pan juices or barbecue sauce.

Tips

  • For even deeper flavor, season and refrigerate brisket overnight before roasting.
  • This is excellent for meal prep. Leftovers stay tender for days.
