Ingredients
- 1 loaf gluten-free bread, cubed and toasted
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (or olive oil for dairy-free)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth for vegetarian)
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp Borsari Original Seasoning
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and carrots; sauté until softened, about 7 to 8 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine toasted gluten-free bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, broth, eggs, Borsari Original Seasoning, sage, thyme, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, until golden brown on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Pro Tips
- For extra crunch, toast the bread cubes in the oven before mixing with the vegetables.
- Customize your stuffing with add-ins like dried cranberries, sautéed mushrooms, or cooked sausage.
- Make ahead: Prepare the stuffing up to one day in advance and refrigerate. Bake just before serving.
