Garlic Pesto Flatbread “Witch Fingers”

Garlic Pesto Flatbread “Witch Fingers”

A frightfully fun dinner for little witches and wizards - crispy, zesty, and delightfully ghoulish!

When the moon rises and little goblins start to stir, dinner should be as playful as it is delicious. These Garlic Pesto Flatbread “Witch Fingers” bring spooky fun to the table without any tricks, just flavorful Borsari seasoning magic. Brushed with Borsari Olive Oil, pesto, and Borsari Citrus Seasoning, each “finger” gets a bright, garlicky kick and a haunting crunch. Top them with “black olive nails” and serve with marinara “witch’s blood” for dipping, perfect for kids and grown-ups alike!

🧂 Ingredients

  • 1 large flatbread or pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp Borsari Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Borsari Citrus Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp pesto sauce
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan
  • 8 to 10 black olives (for “fingernails”)
  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce (for dipping)

🪄 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brush flatbread with Borsari Olive Oil and sprinkle generously with Borsari Citrus Seasoning.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pesto and sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Slice into “finger” strips about 1 inch wide.
  5. Press half an olive on one end of each strip to look like a fingernail.
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  7. Serve with warm marinara for dipping - a wickedly good “witch’s potion” of flavor.

🧡 Pro Tips

  • Use olive oil for brushing. Its rich, buttery flavor helps the edges crisp up beautifully.
  • Want extra “spooky sparkle”? Sprinkle a pinch of Borsari Citrus Seasoning on top just before serving.
  • Let kids help make the “fingernails," it’s a fun way to get them involved in Halloween dinner prep!
