Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients
- 1 package (16 oz) store-bought gnocchi
- 2 Tbsp Borsari Olive Oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Borsari Original Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the gnocchi: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook gnocchi according to package directions until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.
- Make the sauce: In a large skillet, heat Borsari Olive Oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Build the flavor: Stir in crushed tomatoes, cream, Borsari Original Seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Add the gnocchi: Toss cooked gnocchi into the sauce and stir to coat evenly. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh basil leaves and extra Parmesan if desired.
Pro Tips
- Pan-fry the gnocchi in a little olive oil before adding to the sauce for a crispy outside and tender inside.
- Make it a heartier dish by adding sautéed spinach, mushrooms, or Italian sausage.
- For a lighter version, swap the cream with whole milk or use a tomato-only sauce.
